Actually this hat is probably from around 1904. It is a large
crowned, felt hat covered in a soft chocolate brown wool
crepe, with flowered cream silk ribbon, a round hat buckle
and a steel grey ostrich plume.
A perching hat, there is horsehair for attaching and a long
bronze and rhinestone hat pin.
